Product Description
Overview: PROTECT YOUR CRANKING BATTERY FROM YOUR ACCESSORIES!
The OMEGA system is a plug-and-play aux battery system in the Ineos Grenadier. It's all pre-wired and designed to fit under-seat with a Redarc Alpha 25A DC-DC charger, 50A Anderson solar connector, Smart Shunt for Redarc Redvision app monitoring, accessory bus bar, and an adjustable battery bracket for various lead acid, AGM, or lithium batteries. Preserves stock cranking battery; powers add-ons separately—battery sold separately.
For Grenadier owners with the factory JBL Nano speaker, we will soon offer an optional Relocation Bracket with wire harness extension to easily mount it under the front passenger's seat (not pictured).
! NOTE: This system is designed for vehicles WITHOUT the factory second battery option and WITHOUT the extra set of overhead switches. Our bus bar and shunt is mounted where the factory aux switch fuses are located. We will be developing a solution for those vehicles very soon!
How it works:
- Which Batteries to use - Since this system uses a DC-DC charger, you can use any battery type; AGM, lithium, or lead acid.
- Solar Hook Up - When the engine starts, it allows the engine to charge the cranking battery first, then links the batteries together in parallel so they can both be charged by the alternator.
- How to connect a battery charger - To use a traditional battery charger while the engine is off, you can connect it directly to the positive and negative posts of the battery that you wish to charge. The Omega system does NOT link the batteries together, so that means each battery will need to be charged independently.
Features & Benefits:

- Bus Bar Mount - Pre-wired with a Redarc Alpha 25 amp DC-DC charger and a built-in 50A Anderson solar connector.Pre-wired with a Redarc Smart Shunt.
- Battery Bracket - Adjustable height, fits a variety of sizes of lead acid, AGM, or lithium batteries.

- Crank Battery Protection? - To use a traditional battery charger while the engine is off, you can connect it directly to the positive and negative posts of the battery that you wish to charge. The Omega system does NOT link the batteries together, so that means each battery will need to be charged independently.
- sPOD Compatibility? - The sPOD unit should be connected directly to the bus bars. This way, anything that you are controlling through the sPOD will get power from the aux battery, and will not drain down your cranking battery. Any other aftermarket electrical accessory wires should also be connected directly to the auxiliary bus bars to avoid accidentally draining down your cranking battery.
- ! Batteries NOT included !
