Privacy Statement
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.

SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

Prices, Availability, and Errors
Products on the Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered. Our Site contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our Site may be incorrectly priced, the quantity or availability of a product may have changed just prior to you placing your order or other errors may be displayed on the product page. We will normally verify prices, availability and confirm there are no errors on the product page as part of our dispatch procedures.
Where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our Site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an Order Confirmation or a Shipping Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognized by you as a pricing error.
On occasion, you may be able to place a product in your shopping cart and submit your order for processing, but your order is subsequently cancelled due to unavailability of product. You acknowledge that products may sell quickly and there may be a short period of time after an order has been submitted, but where the product is no longer available. You agree that we may cancel your order after you have received and Order Confirmation without penalty. On very rare occasions, you may receive a Shipping Confirmation from us, but the product is no longer available in our inventory, our third party fulfillment provider's inventory, or a Marketplace Seller’s inventory. You agree that we may rescind our acceptance and cancel your order without penalty if the product you ordered is unable to ship due to unavailability.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions on a product page. We reserve the right to rescind our acceptance and cancel your order without penalty in the event there is an obvious and unmistakable error on the product page, in our reasonable discretion. If you have already received your order, we will do our best to resolve your concern.
Double Down Promotion
Double Down promotion cannot be combined with any other sales, discounts, offers or promotions.
Shipping Charges
Our shipping charges are currently calculated for regular ground delivery in the lower 48 States in the contiguous United States. We do not offer shipping options for Alaska, Hawaii, or any United States Territories.
Order Processing/Tracking
Tracking numbers for orders are distributed by email when your order ships. We request your patience when placing an online order as we will send tracking as soon as we have it. Please keep in mind that Main Line Overland does its best to offer each customer personal attention and strive to go above and beyond in customer service. Once you place an order with us, we will process it during our regular business hours. All internet orders undergo the following process:
- Pending: This is the first step in online orders. This means we have received your internet order but have not processed it.
- Processing: After the information you provided passes our fraud check, an invoice is emailed to you. We also tag the items you ordered to be shipped. If we are out of stock on the product, you will be notified immediately and we will email the manufacturer to receive an update from them.
- Shipped: Once the product ships or we receive a tracking number from the manufacturer, we will email you the tracking number. Please note that tracking numbers will not immediately work as they must go to the local sorting warehouse before they become active. If it has been several days and the tracking number we provided doesn’t work, please contact us. Certain items drop-ship directly from the manufacturer which may extend or shorten the transit time depending on your proximity to the shipping origin. Most orders ship with no signature required so please be sure there is a secure location for the delivery driver to leave your package. Main Line Overland is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
- Drop-Shipped: For any items, we don’t have in stock, they will be drop-ship directly from the manufacturer. This may extend or shorten the transit time depending on your proximity to the shipping origin. Please note that tracking numbers are not immediately available for drop ships and some orders may be delayed up to three business days.
- Back Ordered: While we strive to let you know prior to ordering if a product is on backorder, it is not always possible to know a manufacturer's current stock. If a product is on backorder, you will be notified immediately. It is up to you if you’d like to wait for the product or cancel the order.
- Canceled: If the order is confirmed fraud or is no longer available, your order will be canceled.
Shipping Discrepancies and Damages
We understand that damages may occur during shipping. We will do our best to assist you should discrepancies or damage occur.
- Discrepancies: Main Line Overland must be made aware of any and all discrepancies in your order within 14 days of receipt. This includes incorrect part numbers, quantities, and colors. Main Line Overland will not exchange or replace any item after this 14-day window. If you wait two months to install your part and realize you have the wrong item, it will be too late for us to facilitate an exchange or return.
- Damages: If your product was damaged during shipping, you must contact the shipper (ex. FedEx, UPS) within 48 hours of receiving the product. At that time you will need to file a damage claim with the shipper and NOT with us. Products Lost In Shipping: Main Line Overland is not responsible for a package that gets lost in shipping. However, if the freight company (ex. FedEx or UPS) deems the package as lost, we will ship out a replacement of the same item. Please remember we will only ship out a replacement if the freight company claims it as lost.
Truck Freight Shipments
Please be aware that some items on our website must be shipped truck freight. These items include off-road bumpers, some suspension lifts, and other large items that are too large to be shipped small package. Shipping prices quoted on our website only include shipping charges to any residential or commercial address via regular ground shipping. Any additional services such as truck freight or a lift gate are not our responsibility and it will be your responsibility to pay any fees associated with it. We will contact you regarding these additional fees prior to shipment. If the shipping company is unable to get in touch with you, they will charge you storage fees until they are able to deliver it. We will attempt to call and email you to let you know the shipping company cant contact you.
If you refuse an order for any reason, you will be charged shipping both ways and any storage fees associated with your shipment.
Refunds & Exchanges
Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with the products purchased, please contact Main Line Overland for a Return Authorization Number. All items must be returned within 30 days of purchase in their original box and condition and the product must not be used, damaged, missing components or manufacturer’s documentation.
Returns and Cancellations are subject to a 15% fee. Refunds do not include shipping costs. On exchange of defective products, Main Line Overland will pay for shipping on the outbound replacement product only. No refunds or exchanges on any special order item.
Product Warranties
Main Line Overland does not offer or extend warranty coverage outside the coverage offered by the original manufacturer. However, we will be more than happy to assist in any warranty concern you may have.
Defective or Missing Items
If you receive a defective item, the wrong item or the wrong quantity, please immediately contact Main Line Overland. All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt.
