Ever hear the dreaded metal snap of a CV axle or solid axle halfshaft? Ever wondered what you would do, and what you would need if you broke down while on the trail? In this field repair class, we will cover tools and spare parts that would be wise to carry depending on your vehicle's needs. We will provide valuable clues to diagnosing potential issues and damage on the trail, and help you recognize whether you can limp the car back to camp, if a repair can safely be made on the trail to facilitate a limp-out, or whether it is time to call the tow truck.
